Custom, engineered barndominiums for the high, wind-scoured prairie of southeast Wyoming — a university town at 7,200 feet, with wide-open county ground just past the city edge.
Example build shown for illustration
At roughly 7,200 feet, Laramie sees wind speeds and freeze-thaw cycles that most standard building charts underestimate. Albany County's rural parcels — many along Highway 130 or out toward the Snowy Range foothills — give you the acreage for a barndominium with an attached shop, but the frost depth and wind exposure both push toward a heavier footing and frame package than you'd use farther south.
We spec deeper frost footings and higher wind-rated fasteners as standard on Laramie builds, not as an upcharge — it's what the elevation and exposure actually require.
High-elevation shortgrass prairie with some of the strongest sustained winds in the state.
Permitting and rural zoning handled specific to Albany County requirements.
Convenient to the University of Wyoming tower and the Laramie Range to the east.

Full design-build service from first sketch to final walkthrough — floor plan, elevations, structural engineering, and construction under one contract.
Engineered post-frame and steel-frame structures sized for Wyoming wind and snow loads, not a generic regional chart.
Living space and heated shop under one roofline — a layout built for ranch, energy, and trade households that need real equipment space at home.
No, but it changes the engineering: deeper frost footings, higher wind ratings, and insulation packages sized for a longer heating season. We build all three in as standard.
Both — in-town lots near campus and larger acreage out toward Bosler, Tie Siding, and the Snowy Range foothills.
